2009 Race Cancelled

Dear participant,

Due to recent unforeseen and unfortunate circumstances we will not be able to hold the God Bless America Triathlon this coming Saturday, July 4th 2009. As an athlete myself, I know how disappointing this must be to many of you for many different reasons. I love this event and am very saddened by this announcement. From 7 racers in 2006 to 247 in 2008, we have a great thing going on a great day. I love that we honor our military by pushing our physical limits, testing our resolve and raising funds for veterans. I can only apologize for now and work to insure that this race comes back stronger than ever next year and continues on for many, many years to come. All funds collected for race jerseys & race day USAT insurance will be returned via mail by check and anyone registered to race may apply their registration fee to the 2010 event. Please have a fun and safe Independence Day.
